Living in San Francisco? Everyone's high on that Haterade.

There are a lot of Haters out there weighing in on the SF housing scene. Here are some snippets overheard in my many conversations about finding housing in SF:

co-worker: "Congratulations on your new baby, you must be so proud!"
me: [confused] "We're not having a baby."
co-worker: [shocked and appalled] "Then why are you moving to Noe Valley?"

person1:"The Marina? Why?"
person2:"Why would anyone live in the Marina, it sucks."
person3:"There's no soul in the Marina! It's TOO sunny!"

friend: "Inner Sunset? Whoa, that's so far away!"
me: "But its so close to Golden Gate Park, which is awesome."
friend: "who the hell goes to Golden Gate Park, that's lame"

So when you come to visit me in North Beach or Marina or Russian Hill or South Beach or Noe or Mission I'll be sure to bye you a round of stiff slaps to celebrate. PS - I think there's a gap, jamba juice, etc. in Marina. I think there's a longs drugs and shootings in the Mission. I think there's a gap and Ben&Jerry's on Haight Ashbury. I think a lot of things.
